Biography

Ms Rosetta Lee is a highly versatile and accomplished professional with a diverse background and a passion for education and global health. With a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Hong Kong, and a Master’s degree in Global Health from the University of Sydney, Ms Lee joined the School of Public Health as Tutor in 2023. Her interests are health policy and economics, food security, diseases prevention and control, sexual and reproductive health.

Throughout her career in private sectors, Ms Lee has held various managerial roles, including as a managing director of a food manufacturing and distribution company, and a large-scale food and beverages group. Her experience in business consultancy and advisory roles has honed her leadership and management skills, enabling her to drive results and optimize operations.

During her internship at Family Planning Australia, she has assisted in the cervical cancer screening programmes in the Pacific Islands. Her dedication to improving healthcare outcomes in underserved communities showcase her commitment to making a meaningful difference. In addition, Ms Lee played a pivotal role as a contact tracer and venue risk assessor at NSW Health during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, actively contributing to mitigating the risk of COVID-19 transmission within the community.

Beyond her professional experiences, Ms Rosetta Lee has actively engaged in volunteer work, serving as the Honorary Secretary for the HKU Alumni (NSW Chapter), as well as a mentor for the HKU Mentorship programme.
