During the course of the camp, students will hear about career opportunities and be exposed to contemporary issues in global health and development through a series of skill-based training workshops, role-play simulation activities, experience-sharing and professional coaching sessions, and be equipped with the requisite skills such as leadership, advocacy, diplomacy, research, writing, and critical thinking through participation in a model United Nations style exercise. They will learn to debate and advocate issues from different points of view; to effectively share their perspectives and concerns; and to negotiate to find solutions. Professional coaching by practitioners in the field will be provided.
The programme will conclude with a high table dinner on the final evening of the camp. Accommodation on campus is mandatory.
