個人簡介

Dr Adam joined the School of Public Health in 2020. His primary research interests are the concerns of the evolution, epidemiology and ecology of respiratory viruses. His current research focuses on the epidemiology and evolution of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), with a particular interest in superspreading dynamics and transmission clusters, where he applies various interdisciplinary methods in statistics, epidemiology and population genetics to identify optimal control strategies.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Science (Immunology) from the University of Queensland and Master’s degree in Public Health (Honours) from the University of Sydney, Australia. He received his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, in 2020 and completed his postdoctoral training at the School of Public Health in 2022.
