个人简介

Dr Liu Shaojun is a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Global Health Institution of the School of Public Health. Her research explores the mechanisms of mucosal immune responses by integrating advanced germinal center organoid models with epithelium 3D culture systems, aiming to better understand how immune responses are initiated and regulated at mucosal surfaces.

She received her PhD in Medical Sciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, following a Bachelor's degree from Southeast University and a Master's degree from Peking University. Her doctoral training provided a strong foundation in immunology and infectious disease research. Dr Liu's findings have been published in peer-reviewed journals including Frontiers in Immunology, and her work has been supported by the Health and Medical Research Fund (HMRF).

At its core, Dr Liu's career is driven by a steadfast commitment to leveraging data and scientific inquiry to build a more equitable and healthier world—one where evidence-based insights translate into meaningful improvements in global health.
