Dr Lin obtained her PhD from Guangzhou Medical University, China, and her research was performed at the State Key Laboratory for Respiratory Diseases. Her research interest is to understand how infection with novel antigenic subtype of influenza viruses shapes the existing antibody landscapes in individuals of different ages. She is also interested in establishing animal models to evaluate the effect of pre-existing immunity/imprinting on induction of antibody response following subsequent infection.
