個人簡介

Dr Zhou Jingjing obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees from Southern Medical University, as well as a medical doctor degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. She studied as an exchange student at the University of Hong Kong and National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences. Her doctoral study was on the management of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), particularly on integrating TCM theory with modern medicine to prevent chronic diseases. She established the stastistically significant prediction value of a group of TCM syndromes for hospital length of stay and the occurrence of ICD-10 coded diseases. She serves as Youth Editor for Chinese Life and Death Studies; Global Burden of Disease (GBD) senior collaborator; and Reviewer for Geriatric Nursing and Chinese General Practice. She published more than 30 papers and obtained the 2023 Highly Cited Paper Award from the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry.

She participated in three books: Death Education for College Students (Peoples Health Publishing House), the Blue Book of Innovation and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Social Sciences Academic Press, 2022 and 2023 versions).
