An RTHK Radio 3 "Backchat" programme entitled "Remembering Prof Anthony Hedley" was broadcasted this morning (12 February 2015).

Leading scholars and practitioners in the field of Public Health were invited to the programme, including Professor TH Lam, Sir Robert Kotewall Professor in Public Health and Chair Professor of the School of Public Health, Professor Judith Mackay, Director of Asian Consultancy on Tobacco Control and Senior Policy Advisor of the World Health Organization, Mr Simon Ng, Chief Research Officer of Civic Exchange and Mr James Middleton, Chairman of Clear the Air.

In the programme, members shared their memories of and gave tribute to the late Professor Hedley (Emeritus Professor of the School of Public Health), who was revered as a generalist in public health. Members also recalled Professor Hedley's contributions to tackling the air pollution and tobacco control problems in the city of Hong Kong in this final tribute.
