To celebrate the inauguration of our new office in Patrick Manson Building (PMB), the School hosted a Housewarming Party cum Roasted Pig Cutting Ceremony today.

Our School Director, Professor JSM Peiris, highlighted in his opening address the historic significance of the building, which is named after Sir Patrick Manson, one of the founders and first Dean of The Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese, the forerunner of the Faculty of Medicine and the University.  Sir Patrick was an iconic figure who embodied everything we aspire to be as public health practitioners and the symbolism in our relocation to this building runs deep.

To commemorate this auspicious occasion, a short commemorative video about the history of the School has been prepared. Highlights of the party are as below.
