個人簡介

二零零八年九月，葉醫生作為臨床副教授加入社會醫學系。他在香港大學獲得了醫學學位，之後在各個院校接受研究生培訓，包括倫敦衞生和熱帶醫學學院 傳染病 學，在格拉斯哥大學的旅行醫學，作為Chevening學者在英國劍橋大學流行病學。他還分別擁有統計學與應用數學的研究生學位。 

在轉向公眾衞生研究之前，他曾在臨床內科和醫院感染控制中心工作數年。在加入香港大學之前，他曾作為疾病模型專家，在衞生署衞生防護中心從事傳染病監測和建模工作。 

葉醫生是格拉斯哥皇家內外科醫學院旅行醫學學院的創始成員之一，同時他也是澳洲熱帶醫學院及其旅行醫學學院的資院士。他還是英國皇家統計學會的資深會員和畢業生統計師。

葉醫生的研究興趣包括公共衞生遺傳學，并側重于遺傳學研究成果轉化在公共衞生實踐，傳染病流行病學和建模，傳染病症狀監測，和旅行醫學、熱帶流行病學以及與旅遊有關的疾病 。
