個人簡介

葉啟明教授是香港大學李嘉誠醫學院公共衞生學院臨床實務教授  兼社會醫學和公共衞生實踐學分部主任。葉教授在香港習醫，並分別完成了傳染病學、旅遊醫學、統計學和應用數學的研究生培訓。隨後以志奮領學者（Chevening Scholar）的身份赴英國劍橋大學研修流行病學，並於劍橋大學基因組學與人口健康基金會（PHG Foundation）作訪問學人接受精準公共衞生政策方面的培訓。葉教授是公共衞生醫學專科醫生，亦是英國格拉斯哥皇家內外科醫學院旅遊醫學學院的創始成員。在加入香港大學之前，他曾擔任醫院管理局前線醫生，並在衞生防護中心擔任首位疾病模型專家。

葉教授的研究重點在於探索開發創新且基於實證的公共衞生實踐方案，以指導及推進針對各種重大的人群健康問題上的應用，包括針對具有大流行潛力的呼吸道傳染病的創新社區疾病監測和預防方法，以及針對常見非傳染性疾病和癌症的精準預防及普查新模式。

葉教授擔任多個委員會和組織的顧問，包括世界衞生組織中國傳染病監測系統發展顧問、英國格拉斯哥皇家內外科醫學院之國際顧問，以及癌症預防及普查專家工作小組、傳病媒介疾病科學委員會，及愛滋病信託基金會成員。
