The School of Public Health (HKU SPH) will be hosting the XVIIth International Nidovirus Symposium (NIDO  2026) in June, with details as follows:

The Nidovirus Symposium has been a triennial flagship conference exploring all facets of nidoviruses, including significant pathogens such as SARS-CoV-2, zoonotic SARS and MERS coronaviruses, common cold viruses, and impactful livestock viruses.  

This Symposium will be hosted in Asia for the first time — it will feature a pivotal gathering of leading scientists, scholars and researchers, offering a platform for knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration. Join us in connecting with peers, sparking cross-disciplinary collaborations and translating cutting-edge research into real-world impacts.
