Biography

Dr Mateusz Aleksander Kudelko obtained his PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong, with a focus on dengue virus research and more precisely on dengue virus-host interaction. Following his degree he has built a track record spanning diverse research domains in both academic and industry settings. His research focused in the field of infectious and rare diseases, cancer and drug discovery. His previous experience at an immune-oncology startup, which was eventually acquired by BioNTech, combined with his subsequent role as Vice President of Drug Discovery, has provided him unique and valuable insights into translational research. His current work focuses on discovering a first-in-class dengue antiviral.
