Biography

Mr Solomon Wong joined the School of Public Health in 2022. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with First Class Honours. He was also awarded the distinguished Chevening Scholarship and completed a Master of Science degree in Gerontology with Distinction at King's College London.

Mr Wong has vast experience across the private, non-profit, philanthropic, and public sectors. Prior to joining the the School of Public Health, Mr Wong served as a Programme Manager at The D. H. Chen Foundation, where he worked on grant-making for projects related to wellbeing and older adults. He co-founded PaterMater, an award-winning non-profit organisation funded by the SIE Fund, aimed at empowering adult children to address the needs of their aging parents. He has also worked at various positions in the corporate finance and investment sector during his early career. Currently, Mr Wong is a Member appointed by the HKSAR Government for the Family Council and the Advisory Committee on Enhancing Self-Reliance through District Partnership Programme.
