Biography

Mr Rex Wong joined the School of Public Health at the LKS Faculty of Medicine in 2024.

He holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. With years of critical care nursing experience at the Hospital Authority, he has gained valuable insights into the significance of population care. He is passionate about promoting organ donation, and collaborating with NGOs, District Health Centres (DHC), and schools. He also provides medical support through community service with Oxfam Trailwalker.

His research interests focus on improving health among underprivileged populations in our community, particularly in reducing barriers for homeless individuals to access healthcare services. He is also interested in developing communication strategies for organ donation promotion, tackling residential secondhand smoke, and medical education.
