FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society is a citywide project launched by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in collaboration with the School of Public Health of The University of Hong Kong. The project aims to identify the source of family problems, devise suitable preventive measures and promote family Health, Happiness and Harmony (3Hs) through the territory-wide household survey, interventions projects and public education - health communication.

This FAMILY: Community Wisdom Forum aims to provide a community platform to exchange views on family agenda and strategies among policy makers, researchers, community leaders and service providers working in the field of social service, health and education, and promote evidence-based and evidence generating family services and public health approach through sharing of community-based intervention strategies and results. In the forum, our project team will consolidate the experience gained in the past six years and promote the use of the proven effective evidence-based and evidence generating family service models and intervention strategies. Government officials, politicians, local NGOs, community stakeholders, academics, social workers, health care professionals, teachers, university students, members from parent school associations, and the general public will be invited to join this forum.
