Led by our Medical Faculty, the School of Public Health received a delegation from the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) on 22 May 2014.

The delegation from UMMS comprised Professor James O. Woolliscroft (Dean of Medicine), Professor Joseph C. Kolars (Senior Associate Dean for Education and Global Initiatives), Mr Mark Veich (Senior Director, Medical School and Global Initiatives, UM Health System Office of Development), and Mr Rich Rogel (Vice Chair of the Victors for Michigan Campaign Executive Committee).

Members of the two Schools shared their views and experiences on a variety of public health issues engulfing today's world and public health practitioners, and discussed the way forward to forge closer collaboration in scientific research, academic exchange and medical education between the two Schools.
