Roundtable: Why global health AND development? on 8 November 2018

The Asia Global Institute and School of Public Health would like to invite you to a moderated roundtable discussion with AsiaGlobal Fellows on 8 November 2018 (Thursday) at 6:00pm in Rayson Huang Theatre, HKU Main Campus. This special event entitled “Why global health AND development?” aims to explore the close relationship between global health and development and issues reflecting this relationship. The discussion will also highlight why this Institute and School, in partnership with the Faculties of Architecture, Business and Economics, Law, Science as well as Social Sciences, have established the new Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Global Health and Development for 2019. The AsiaGlobal Fellows come from diverse backgrounds including consultancy, advocacy, public policy, business and economy, sustainable development, etc. This roundtable discussion will be moderated by Professor Keiji Fukuda, Director and Clinical Professor of HKU School of Public Health.

Members of the audience are welcome to engage in an interactive dialogue with the fellows at the roundtable that day.
