Professor Guan Yi, Daniel CK Yu Professor in Virology of the School of Public Health, has been awarded the Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation. The award is further testimony to the importance with which Professor Guan's research accomplishments in microbiology and virology, and in particular, infectious diseases, are regarded, both nationally and internationally.
