BSc (Exercise & Health) students received the Research Internship Award of Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme 2017/2018
The School extends our heartfelt congratulations to Miss Chow Wan Ki Victoria and Mr Law Chi Long James, Year 3 BSc (Exercise & Health) students of School of Public Health, for being granted the Research Internship Award of up to HK$40,000 from the University’s Working Group on the Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme 2017/2018 (URFP). Victoria and James are now undertaking a research study on “Effects of attention focus instructions on balance: implication for fall rehabilitation” and “Enhancing motor learning and performance through the manipulation of augmented feedback and psychological stress” respectively under dual guidance from the academics at HKU and the host unit for internship - Division of Physiotherapy, Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Health and Life Sciences, Brunel University London.
The URFP is a prestigious programme aimed to enhance students’ learning experience and to nurture the next generation of researchers/scholars. It offers opportunities for academically outstanding students to undertake research under the guidance and supervision of academic staff who have a strong research track record and experience in training research postgraduate students.
